This is a community-wide reflection upon the vision of, and the needs for, Hong Kong 2030-2050. In the envisioning exercise, the community and other stakeholders will be prompted to generate a list of sustainability visions, which will then be shared, discussed, and consolidated. Thematic scenarios of a sustainable lifestyle with regard to clothing, food, shelter and means of traveling will be harvested from the collective visions to be documented and stored in a common needs database. The envisioning exercise consists of three components:
Face-to-face interviews are employed. The questionnaire aims to generate sustainability envisioning, identify the awareness and knowledge of the community on social entrepreneurship in Hong Kong, and comprehend the factors affecting the social entrepreneurship intent.
The result of the territorial-wide sustainability envisioning survey conducted in 2019 would be shared to identify the community views on sustainability visions for Hong Kong 2030-2050 and their awareness on social entrepreneurship in Hong Kong. Followed by good practices sharing among advocates and endeavours in the field, their roles and trends of social innovation would be discussed.
