In particular, the concepts of collaborative governance and self-governance will be explored in detail. The application of these governance approaches in different contexts to address sustainability issues will be investigated through a range of case studies.<\/p><p>The course will also critically review the roles played by organisations in the civil society and private sector in the low carbon transition as well as the ways in which their initiatives contribute towards building a sustainable community.
