Miss. Jacqueline Cheung graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She also holds a master’s degree in Cultural Studies with distinction at Lingnan University. She was awarded The Lingnan Cultural Studies Award and The Best Academic Performance Award by Lingnan University.
Jacqueline has pursued her career in the profession of social work for 14 years which focused in the area of child and youth service. She devoted herself in developing financial education service for children and youth in Hong Kong, whilst being an advocator for bringing financial education service into special school. The service enhances the financial management skills for mentally retarded and autistic students and facilitates their integration into the community. Apart from social work frontline and management work, Jacqueline has published numerous articles relating to the topic of life planning, financial education, special education needs and employee counselling service.
Jacqueline presently works as an Assistant Project Manager at the Centre for Civil Society and Governance of The University of Hong Kong. She is mainly responsible for Inclusive Platforms for Inclusive Employment Project.
