What are your thoughts when someone says they want to study ESG versus learning about sustainability? How might earning a diploma in ESG shape your career path differently than a diploma in sustainability?

Studying ESG can lead to a career in compliance and corporate governance, but a general focus on sustainability may open opportunity in sustainable development. I think both are valuable, but it depends on what you want to get out of your career.

What are one or two key things you gained from the programme? How did it help you, and what impact did it have on you?

I have learned not only how to transform a business from a conventional one into a sustainable model, but the programme also allowed me to have an opportunity to work with different people in different positions. I learned about how their businesses operate and how we can connect with each other to make sustainable goals happen.

What are the most important qualities or skills of a leader when it comes to driving sustainable change within an organization and will this programme help us develop those skills.

What I take away from this programme is the sustainable mindset. How to make sustainability fit in our job role or functional role in our business. Throughout this programme, you will have in depth learning from different perspectives to help you grasp the whole picture of what a sustainable operation will look like and it will help lead you to have a critical mindset to see what we can improve.
