Mural Painting

As you walk through the two villages, you will discover a number of large-scale murals that introduce the ecology, history, and cultural character of the villages through art.

Some of the murals in Mui Tsz Lam are part of the “Heaven, Earth, and Humanity — Mui Tsz Lam Art Revitalization Project”, organized by the Association for Sha Tau Kok Culture and Ecology. The project was one of the “Community Co-creation Projects” under the HSBC Rural Sustainability Programme, initiated by the Centre for Civil Society and Governance of The University of Hong Kong.

While some other murals in Mui Tsz Lam, as well as the murals in Kop Tong, are part of the Forest Village project.
