The company specialises in one-stop LPG retail, delivery, installation and maintenance services, as well as (central or pipeline) gas engineering for both household and commercial sectors, gas appliances retail and wholesale business, and LPG (dangerous goods) logistics management. With a philosophy of “Running business with heart” and "Putting customers first", over the years the company has introduced innovative operation and management. It has proactively expanded horizontally, the like of acquiring Crown Gas Stoves (Holdings) Company Limited in 2014 and the launch of kitchen cabinet and bathroom design business, leading this tradition industry to keep up with the time.

Tony Ip Green Architect Limited (TiP) was founded in 2017 with a primary focus on architectural, interior, and urban design projects. Additionally, they offer consulting services to non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and schools. TiP currently has a team of 16 employees who are qualified professionals in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, and architectural conservation. The company has always been devoted to promoting green architecture in Hong Kong and adopted an operation model based on SDG 9 “Industry, innovation and infrastructure”, SDG 11 “Sustainable cities and communities”, SDG 12 “Responsible consumption and production” and SDG 13 “climate action”, aiming for sustainable development.

V Visionary: Reforming the Fashion Industry from Materials to Values

Founded in 2018 by Vickie Au, V Visionary is a fashion design consultancy company providing services such as corporate uniform design and production with the mission of “Fashion for Social Good”, and targeting large corporates as their main clientele. In 2019, Vickie established the award-winning brand V VISSI:revisit, which focuses on “sustainability”, “innovation” and “social inclusion”. She works with yarn and fabric factories alongside different stakeholders to develop sustainable fashion. Her work has been recognized by a number of international design awards. In 2020, Vickie launched the "Look Cool Do Good" initiative—a community co-creation programme supported by the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund)—which offers free training to empower low-income women, factory workers, and retired tailors. Vickie has striven to place technological innovation, environmental sustainability and social inclusion at the heart of her company’s operation model, which echoes with the global sustainability agenda including SDG 12 “Sustainable consumption and production” and SDG 9 “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”.

ARTA Architects: Communicating through works – Thoughts on architecture that highlight community engagement

ARTA, which was established in 2021, is a rather young enterprise. It focuses on architecture, interior design, art installations and community design projects. In a short period of time, it has gained recognition from big names like Nan Fung Group and the Harbour Office of the Development Bureau. The two co-founders are registered architects, and have 8 to 10 years of work experience. They have won different open competitions before setting up ARTA. ARTA is a name combining “Art” and “Architecture”. In essence, art is relatively abstract and subjective whilst architecture focuses on functionality. The co-founders would like to combine the two and create architectural pieces that put emphasis on the interactions with the general public. They strive to reflect the importance of environmental and social sustainability in their works. Although they did not deliberately adopt the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, “Sustainable cities and communities”, “Industry, innovation and infrastructure” and “Responsible consumption and production” are at the heart of the company’s operation model.

Now with 13 years of history and about 50 employees, SSID has its own recycling plant in Yuen Long, handling waste paper recycling and other operations. Being part of the recycling industry, SSID has been integrating sustainable development into its business for many years, promoting a work model that focuses on Sustainable Development Goals of "ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns", "making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable”. and "building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and fostering innovation".

Co-living with the Sea: Diving Adventure’s Work in Marine Conservation and Social Inclusiveness

Diving Adventure was founded by Stephen Au in 1998 and is approaching its 24th year. The company has gradually extended its diving related businesses to provide a one-stop support to their students. This includes diving courses across various levels; diving equipment wholesaling and retailing; and activities such as local or overseas diving tours. During the years of expansion, they have implemented multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that other businesses could take a page from, including Goal 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable; and Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.

Empathy in Practice – Humanised Design and Workplace Inclusion by Pacific Foodservice Equipment Company Limited

Established in 2013, PFEC provides kitchen design and consulting services, including kitchen project coordination, supply and installation of imported catering equipment, and the related maintenance services. Simply put, it is a restaurant kitchen’s backend support partner. With 50 employees currently, the company plays distribution and retail roles in the industry’s supply chain. The catering industry can be described as quite traditional, and many senior executives started from the very bottom and worked their way up in the field. However, this does not hold back the determination of PFEC to operate with an exceptional model for sustainable development. They focus on three aspects – “Industry, innovation and infrastructure”, “Sustainable cities and communities”, and “Partnerships for the goals”.
