Rural Stewardship Study

The Programme will carry out a study to track the changing sense of rural stewardship for major stakeholders and project participants.

This includes unpacking the concept of stewardship and its application to the rural context as well as creating an assessment framework to measure the sense of rural stewardship.  This research will follow upon several projects under the Programme, which aims to educate and enhance participants’ understanding and awareness on rural issues, and examines participants’ interactions and involvement in various activities.

The results of the study will inform the project team on the effectiveness of the project’s engagement activities.  Alongside, they will also allow key actors of the programme to understand and communicate the shared value created in the context of rural stewardship, thus improving the cooperation among all parties.
