Come find us at LG/F Centennial Campus, HKU on 16 March (Sat) to reconnect, learn, and celebrate HKU Foundation Day and Alumni Day!

We will be showcasing startups and initiatives founded by our MSocSc Sustainability Leadership and Governance alumni and students under the theme of sustainable consumption and production (SDG12).

The event will feature:

A large variety of activities will be offered by other departments and units to cater for all ages and interests so feel free to bring your family and friends along. Check out the HKU Alumni Day website.

Dr. Margaret Burnett (Director of SLGP) and Dr. Vivian Chu (Deputy Director of SLGP) will be there to reconnect with our alumni and meet anyone who is interested in being a more sustainable consumer!

Network for the Study of Social Ecological Systems (SES) Transformation – Network launch

The first conference and official launch of the Network for the Study of Social Ecological System (SES) Transformation will take place as a two-day event on 5–6 May 2026, organised by the Centre for Civil Society and Governance at The University of Hong Kong. The network brings together scholars working on social-ecological systems, governance, commons, cultural heritage, environmental policy, and sustainability transitions from a range of institutions across the Asia-Pacific and beyond. 跨界協作推動運動共融：VR單車走進復康服務

本中心透過「賽馬會共融．知行計劃」，一直致力搭建跨界別平台，連結不同持份者落實多元就業與共融生活。近日，項目團隊聯同本地共享單車品牌 Locobike 走進社區，於聖雅各福群會 雅聚天地~地區支援中心 (東區) 舉辦共融單車工作坊。   活動要點： 科技與復康服務結合： 活動展示了結合虛擬實境（VR）技術的單車設備，讓殘疾人士在安全可控的室內環境下，體驗戶外運動的樂趣，打破身體與環境的限制。 實證反饋： 團隊藉此收集前線復康專業人員的意見，並將設備留置中心供會員試用，透過持續收集數據與用家體驗，協助商企打造更貼合使用者需求的產品與服務。 促進社會健康永續： 是次交流體現了商企如何運用核心業務貢獻社會價值。透過增加殘疾人士的運動選擇及趣味，長遠提升其身心健康與生活質素，實踐社會可持續發展目標。   我們期待未來有更多商企與社福及復康機構展開對話，共同研發更貼合多元需要的產品與服務，構建一個無障礙的多元共融社會。
