Sustainability Leadership and Governance: Showcasing Alumni Startups

Come find us at LG/F Centennial Campus, HKU on 16 March (Sat) to reconnect, learn, and celebrate HKU Foundation Day and Alumni Day!

We will be showcasing startups and initiatives founded by our MSocSc Sustainability Leadership and Governance alumni and students under the theme of sustainable consumption and production (SDG12).

The event will feature:

A large variety of activities will be offered by other departments and units to cater for all ages and interests so feel free to bring your family and friends along. Check out the HKU Alumni Day website.

Dr. Margaret Burnett (Director of SLGP) and Dr. Vivian Chu (Deputy Director of SLGP) will be there to reconnect with our alumni and meet anyone who is interested in being a more sustainable consumer!

森活節為鄉郊保育資助計劃下的「森林村落︰梅子林及蛤塘永續鄉村計劃」每年的年終盛事。希望通過一系列與自然、藝術及村落文化相關的工作坊、導賞及露營活動，讓公眾認識並體驗兩條村的活化工作，感受森林村落的不同可能，並鼓勵公眾參與，一同守護森林村落。這次森活節由三大活動組成，分別為「森樂嘉年華」、「元旦日出團」及「慶春七村蹤走營」。

啟動會議：永續鄉村復育研究－以荔枝窩經驗為例

香港大學公民社會與治理研究中心獲香港特區政府環境及生態局轄下的鄉郊保育辦公室委託，進行永續鄉村復育研究。此研究將回顧荔枝窩的鄉村活化經驗，同時考慮環境、社會和管治（ESG）的元素，以及一二三產業的融合發展，並參考中國內地和亞太區其他城市的案例，從而為荔枝窩和印洲塘一帶的村落制定永續復育策略。預期研究的建議將有助促進《北部都會區行動綱領2023》所提出的生態旅遊發展。
