Mr. Ryan Leung graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Life Science. He joined the Centre of Urban Planning and Environmental Management (CUPEM, which was re-organized as the Kadoorie Institute (KI) in 2008) after his graduation. Mr. Leung was heavily involved in the operation of the Lung Fu Shan Environmental Education Centre which provides environmental education and training to the general public. He was also involved in various projects of KI which include a staff training and awareness building programme, a forestry research and a consultancy study for the enhancement works of a zoological and botanical garden. He is now a senior project officer and working on a rural community revitalization programme. His main responsibilities include planning and coordinating education and training activities, conducting agroforestry research and curating the “Co-creation of the Community” Scheme (a community-led initiative to revitalize rural capitals) under the programme.
