The International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI) was established in 2010 during the 10th UN Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 10). IPSI is a partnership of organisations created to further the implementation of the Satoyama Initiative, a global effort with the vision to “realize societies in harmony with nature” through promotion and conservation of “socioecological production landscapes and seascapes” (SEPLS). The partnership is made up of a diverse membership including national and sub-national governmental organisations, non-governmental and civil society organisations, indigenous and local-community organisations, academic, educational and research institutions, private sector organisations, United Nations and other intergovernmental organisations, and others.

The International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) is an organisation directly under the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development (LGOP), jointly initiated and established by the Chinese government, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and other international organisations in 2004. The dual nature of IPRCC decides that it is not only a key channel for the Chinese government to carry out South-South cooperation, but also an international platform specialising in research, training, exchange and cooperation on poverty reduction.

Stockholm Environment Institute is an international non-profit research and policy organisation that tackles environment and development challenges. SEI connects science and decision-making to develop solutions for a sustainable future for all. Its work spans climate, water, air and land-use issues, governance, the economy, gender and health. SEI has offices in five continents and works locally, regionally and globally. Stakeholder involvement is at the heart of its efforts to build capacity, strengthen institutions and equip partners for long-term change.

Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF) is an international non-governmental organisation that provides support to vulnerable children and their families and has its headquarters in Taichung, Taiwan. It is now a self-independent organisation which is helping children in dire need in Taiwan and worldwide all through the contribution and donation from the public. TFCF national branches have been established in counties and cities of Taiwan. TFCF has introduced Family Helper Projects into Taiwan and launched the children sponsorship programme to deliver donations directly to needy families. TFCF advocates many welfare services and collaborative programmes with the government.
