Sustainability Hackathon

The Policy for Sustainability Lab of the Centre is pleased to launch its second Sustainability Hackathon in August 2020. It is a 4-day community incubation event to bring together a diverse range of community stakeholders to generate innovative ideas for improving rural-urban interactions in Hong Kong. Participants will propose innovative action plans, business models or product prototypes to solve real challenges in Hong Kong’s food system. Selected teams will be invited to pitch for the awards.

Forest Village Festival 2023
The “Forest Village Fest” will be organised annually towards the year-end to provide fun-filled events for the general public to appreciate the nature and rural beauty of Hong Kong. The festival will combine art, nature and village life, featuring harvesting, ecotours and cultural activities, as well as overnight camping. The “Forest Village Fest” will be conducted in Chinese and details are only available in Chinese.
