Ms. Mimi Kan graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Marketing and Finance. After graduation, she worked for a global PR Agency Waggener Edstrom, serving clients from the travel industry. With her passion in Sports and Wellbeing, Mimi’s PR career progressed to focus in Sports Marketing, as the PR and Crisis management for local major sport events such as the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, New World Harbour Race and FIVB Volleyball Nations League. Before joining HKU, her last position was the Media Network Specialist at Red Bull, leading content development, digital programming (Website and Social Media Platforms), and communication to build a wider audience base and grow engagement with consumers.
